Biography
Olga Krimon was born in Odessa, Ukraine, and received her academic art education in Kazan, Russia. She continued her development in America through drawing classes with Glen Orbik and painting classes with Jeremy Lipking, and holds a BA in Art History from Davidson College, NC, and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
Her work is grounded in traditional realism but moves beyond it. Figures, florals, and ceramic forms are not static subjects — they are atmospheres of presence and quiet. Compositions are carefully orchestrated: edges manipulated, forms lost and found, passages of precise drawing emerging through broken color and shifting texture. Structure is fundamental. But she is not copying reality. She is refining it.
In recent years she has extended this language into ceramics — balancing tactility, restraint, and material sensitivity across mediums, with a consistent interest in the poetry of surface.
Krimon is represented by Reinert Fine Art, Charleston, SC, and The Whitethorn Gallery, Clifden, Ireland. She is a Signature Member of the Portrait Society of America and Oil Painters of America.
